Waterless world

Spending a night alone
Sleepless with a moan
With useless senses sharpend, I am torn

Bright is the moon like noon
The beam covers me like a cocoon
I have no one I can share this time with, without you

So many days passed and gone since torn apart from you
I must live unnatural life, live without you
Busy days hide the fact away from me
Restless nights reveal it to me

Words of friends of mine won't comfort me

Cannot sleep a wink
Should be numbed with a drink
Try hard to stand firm on my feet when my spirits sink

I feel as if I were in the waterless world
Feel a thirst for you, your words and soul, get a little whirled
Day by day, second by second, get weak and dry
With a vacant mind I cannot cry


With an empty heart and a vacant mind I cannot cry
Stand firm on my feet, I should try
